Webb, Joseph 1882-1966

Joseph Webb and Alice Miller were both born in England and came to Edmonton around 1909. They married in Edmonton and had one daughter – Ellen, known as Nell.

The family lived in the downtown area of Edmonton. In 1931, Joseph and Alice moved to Vancouver. Nell remained in Edmonton, married and had one child.

Custodial history

Ellen Godwin is the daughter of Joseph & Alice Webb.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of textual records and photographs of Joseph and Alice Webb, and their daughter Ellen Godwin.

The fonds is arranged into two series:
Series 1: Joseph & Alice Webb
Series 2: Ellen Godwin

This fonds was donated to the City of Edmonton Archives by Ellen Godwin in five donations between 1968 and 1980.
