The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre is located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. The Centre opened in 1979 and was designed to house and display records and objects that reflect the heritage of the Northwest Territories.
Custodial history
David Leonard was the Territorial Archivist at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre from 1978 to 1981.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of records sent from the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre to the City of Edmonton Archives.
The photographs include various buildings and street scenes in Strathcona (1910) and an aerial view of the University of Alberta area (1920).
