The collection consists of records accumulated by Alfred Bramley-Moore including a Northern Alberta Land Registration District Duplicate Certificate of Title belonging to Jonathan Hoffman, 1898, the Canadian Expeditionary Force, Divisional Cavalry - 19th Alberta Dragoons Roll of Officers, 1915 and an obituary of John J. Thompson, 1959.

Gilda Rath fonds

The fonds consists of research materials collected or created by Gilda Rath. The records generally relates to three themes: excerpts from the Edmonton Bulletin 1880-1882, and the Saskatchewan Herald, 1879-1882; the story of the Lamoureux family from their origins in Quebec to their settlement in the Edmonton district; and translations of correspondence from the Oblate Archives relating to members of the order and to the history of the Edmonton area.
Also included is information on First Nations, Metis, steamboat transportation on the North Saskatchewan, and notes and excerpts from other sources. The research material appears to have been accumulated for a book on the history of French settlement in North America and the Canadian northwest, focusing on the Lamoureux family. A partial typescript of this work is included in the fonds. Some of the notes are transcripts from tape recordings, but the original tapes are not present.

Anderson Family fonds

The fonds consists of a diary belonging to Robert’s second wife, Margaret ‘Greta’ McPherson (Grant) Anderson and papers relating to the birth registration of their son Malcolm Robert Anderson (b 19 Apr 1920). There is also a poem written by Robert Thompson Anderson, Our Capital Town, about the city of Edmonton and apparently read at annual events in the fire department.

The photographs include the Anderson home and family members, Edmonton street scenes and events, and the Edmonton Fire Department and Health Department.

The fonds also includes Robert’s published works, The Old Timer and Other Poems (819 AND), Canadian Born and other Western Verse (819 AND 1913 c.3) and Troopers in France (819 AND 1932).

John William Clutton fonds

This fonds consists of an original letter written in 1894 by John William Clutton to a friend in England, who had shipped a potato-tilling plough to Mr. Clutton. The letter recounts pioneer life and farming in the Beaumont area. It includes references to ‘Gough’, a young man whom Clutton had recruited from England for help and Sandy Lake.
There are also 2 typed transcripts of the original letter.

The fonds consists of photocopied transcripts of letters and articles written by Ernest S. George and the certificate of membership of E.S. George to the Northern Alberta Pioneers and Old-Timers Association, Dec. 31, 1926. It also includes a photocopied transcript of an article by Barbara Mary George, Ernest George's mother. The photograph is a portrait of Ernest George, ca. 1962 that was used for an Edmonton Historical Board award in 1977.

Gerald M. Hutchinson fonds

This fonds consists of notes and articles prepared by G.M. Hutchinson relating to the work of Robert Rundle, who was one of a small group of missionaries who were sent to Canada by the Wesleyans (Methodists) in England in 1840. Rundle was the first Protestant missionary to reach the area which is now Alberta. His first headquarters was Fort Edmonton from where he traveled as far as Rocky Mountain House, the Bow River near the future site of Banff, and Beaver Lake. Shortly before he left Canada in 1848 he established a mission at Pigeon Lake, now known as the Rundle Mission.
The material was used in research for Rundle House at Fort Edmonton Park.
The fonds also includes a photograph of Rev. Robert Rundle and his bride, Mary Wolverson.
