Likely Gertrude (Doughty) Lake and/or her sister Bessie Doughty are in the photo. Gertrude and Bessie were both telephone operators for Alberta Government Telephones (A.G.T.) beginning in the early 1920's.
These glass negatives were taken from a glass slide collection entitled: Missionary - India. Miss Sulland. Spirit photography, an attempt to capture a ghost on film, began in the mid-1800s and its popularity lasted well into the 20th century.
