This fonds consists of material collected and created by Reg Appleyard, Doug Matheson, Rev. Harry Meadows, Matheson and Company, and the staff of Meadowcroft Seniors’ Residence through their function of running the Meadowcroft corporations and providing quality affordable housing in Edmonton between 1969 and 2010. It contains legal documents, correspondence, reports, committee minutes, pamphlets, photos, plans, audiovisual material and a book, ‘The Meadow’s Story’ (922.77 ROB). This fonds consists of the personal and family papers and photographs of Mattie (Scaler) MacPhee. The photographic records are separated into 8 albums. These albums are not necessarily divided chronologically, nor are they separated geographically. There are many instances where duplicate images are found in multiple albums. The dates of the images range from the mid 1910s to the mid 1960s. Locations of the photographs are divided between Massachusetts, Alberta, and British Columbia. There are also many photographs from various trips into the United States. The textual records with this fonds consists of letters, cards and condolences regarding Mattie MacPhee's death, newspaper clipping on Louis Scaler and Mattie Scaler's business and careers, Mattie MacPhee's short stories and other writings, material on Lauchie MacPhee, music, and miscellaneous material.
The fonds consists of records relating to the Urban Reform Group of Edmonton (URGE), including production of a 1978 historical calendar, Board minutes, reports and correspondence. It also contains records relating to the Society for the Protection of Architectural Resources in Edmonton (SPARE) and personal correspondence. The photographs consist mostly of buildings and street scenes in Edmonton and Toronto, ca. 1980, taken as part of research into heritage buildings for SPARE. They include the Ross Brothers and Brighton Block in Edmonton, and the St. Lawrence Market and Gooderham Building (flatiron) in Toronto (EA-560). One photograph is a portrait of Elly De Jongh used for an Edmonton Historical Board award in 1984. The artwork consists of an ink drawing of Primrose House, 1979, as part of research on heritage buildings for SPARE (EAA-113).

Picard, including a membership certificate from the Northern Alberta Pioneers and Old Timers Association dated 1926, a paid Banque D'Hochelaga of Edmonton promissory note from 1922, receipts from trips to England and France in 1911 and 1924, correspondence with Senator J.L. Cot� (in French) in 1924, a $10 share for the the Great War Veterans' Memorial Hall, letter to Prime Minister Sir Wilfrid Laurier and a thank you response from the Prime Minister's Office from 1910, a menu from a luncheon signed by Edward Prince of Wales (future Edward VIII) from 1919, a CFCN announcement on the Alberta Wheat Pool in 1945, a copy of a Souvenir of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebration at Edmonton (1897) signed by Ernest Brown, an invitation from the Lt. Governor of Alberta to a ball with the Edward the Prince of Wales and a seating chart, and a copy of Men and Makers of Edmonton Alta (1913)
This fonds primarily consists of a manuscript on Bob Davies childhood memories living in McCauley. It also includes an unbound copy of Joseph J. Duggan's The Unforgotten Valley, a newspaper clipping on the restoration of J.J. Duggan's house, an Alberta Drivers Manual from 1953, an Alberta Operators Manual from 1962, and a copy of the 1939 Royal Visit Pictorial Review.
