This series contains annual reports and correspondence relating to the operations of the City Architect and Building Inspector's Department, as well as a general ledger detailing financial information concerning the department.

This series contains building plans submitted to the City of Edmonton to the Town of Beverly as required to receive a building permit.

This series consists of building, sewer, and plumbing permit ledgers for the City of Edmonton from 1902-1976, and 1996-1998, as well as aggregates of building permits issued based on type of building between 1947 and 1973. The City requires a building permit be issued prior to the beginning of construction of any project. The ledgers contain information regarding these permits and the prices paid to attain them.

This series contains records relating to the care and operation of municipally owned buildings and property in Edmonton. Included are project files from the office responsible for building maintenance between 1965 and 1969.

This series contains material created through the inspection of buildings, an annotated and amended copy of the 1935 building code used by department staff, and records from the Edmonton Plumbing Board and the City Examination Board.

The series consists of agendas, minutes, correspondence and supporting documentation relating to Richard York Secord’s service on the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, 1959-1968, the Edmonton Archives and Landmarks Committee/Edmonton Historical Board, 1964-1972, the Alberta Heritage Sites Board, 1973-1976, and the Fort Edmonton Foundation, 1970-1975.

There is also personal and business correspondence, including correspondence relating to the Secord family history, as well as research material, correspondence and manuscripts relating to the Richard Henry Secord biography and Richard York Secord memoirs.

This file contains a photographic survey of facilities operated by the Edmonton Ambulance Authority. Among the sites are #1 Station (Headquarters) at 10510 - 107 Avenue; Edmonton Ambulance Authority parking at the Western GMC Hangar; #2 Station at 109 Street and University Avenue; #4 Station at 10526 - 142 Street; #5 Station at 6506 - 118 Avenue; #6 Station at 9813 - 34 Avenue; #7 Station at the Misericordia Hospital; #8 Station at 8309 - 90 Avenue; and #9 Station (Edmonton General Hospital).

The collection consists of original material removed from the City of Edmonton Archives Clippings collection.

The collection consists of records created or collected by various departments of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
The textual records include reports prepared by students enrolled in the Architecture Department in conjunction with the English Department and created in 1969. Each report contains technical and historical information on a different building of architectural significance in Edmonton. There are 28 reports in total and include commercial, educational, religious, public and industrial buildings.
The photographs include the Edmonton Monarchs hockey teams [ca. 1960 and 1970].

The fonds consists of textual records, historical documents, photographs, paintings and maps gathered by NAPOTA in support of the association’s goal of preserving the history of Edmonton. The fonds also includes the records of the association including minutes, membership records, correspondence, financial documents and news clippings.
