The cake was presented at a dinner at the Calgary Convention Centre. The cake has 100 candles, and reads "Edmonton Wishes Calgary a Happy 100th Birthday".
The bust, sculpted by John Weaver, was a gift from the City of Edmonton to the City of Calgary in honour of their centennial anniversary.
