The book tells the history of Tony's dad Anton Baer's immigration from Austria to Canada, his travels around Saskatchewan and Alberta, his families Moonshine activities, and then Tony's own history from childhood in Saskatchewan and Alberta, his military service in World War II, return to Edmonton and up to his move to the Yukon.
