The fonds consists of the records of The Edmonton Women’s Film Society from prior to its formal incorporation in 2004 until shortly after the Reel Femme ‘10 festival in 2010, after which the society dissolved. The records include administration records from the society’s operations, such as grant applications, meeting minutes, society bylaws, and correspondence. Additionally, many records relate to the Reel Femme film festivals including flyers, programs, news clippings and publicity, film adjudication notes, and film classification exemption records. Also included are large posters advertising the Reel Femme film festivals.

Additionally, this fonds contains press coverage from Jazz City, Jazz City programs, and several records relating to the promotion of Jazz City including t-shirts, posters, pins, and felt patches. Also included are photographs of artists and the festival, as well as VHS tapes with interviews and advertisements for Jazz City.

The photographs consist mostly of buildings and street scenes in Edmonton and Toronto, ca. 1980, taken as part of research into heritage buildings for SPARE. They include the Ross Brothers and Brighton Block in Edmonton, and the St. Lawrence Market and Gooderham Building (flatiron) in Toronto (EA-560). One photograph is a portrait of Elly De Jongh used for an Edmonton Historical Board award in 1984.
The artwork consists of an ink drawing of Primrose House, 1979, as part of research on heritage buildings for SPARE (EAA-113).
