The fonds consists of photographs that reflect the involvement of John Chorley and Thomas Brown in the Canadian military and cover WWI and WWII time periods.
The photographs pertaining to John Chorley are training and parade photos of the 51st Battalion, CEF, based out of Edmonton (1915) (EA-296-1 to EA-296-4).
The photographs pertaining to Thomas G. Brown include group portraits of officers, sergeants and platoons of the 51st Battalion and Edmonton Fusiliers (EA-296-5 to EA-296-8, EB-42).
The fonds consists of the correspondence and papers of William J. McKernan created during the operation of the Princess Theatre. The correspondence includes letters between the Princess Theatre and its main film distributor, Famous Players Film Service Ltd. of Calgary. Other records include billing and credit statements, fire prevention notices, legislation regarding censorship, and theatre-goer taxation.
Sin títuloThe fonds consists predominantly of records from Kathleen Waddell’s time in the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service. They include one menu card for the Christmas Dinner 1943 of HMCS Stadacona and photographs of Kathleen as a Wren (EA-557-1 to EA-557-11).
There are also photographs of the 1915 flood of the North Saskatchewan River taken by Kathleen’s father, Robert Waddell (EA-557-12 to EA-557-14).
The fonds consists of records pertaining to the Edmonton Public Welfare Board from 1914 to 1925. The records include minutes, reports, finances, correspondence, and by-law. Also included in the fonds are minutes, reports, and cases dealt with by the Visiting Committee, later known as the Advisory Committee, and minutes from the Committee on Unemployment.

The fonds consists of a historical and biographical narrative handwritten by Frank Bernard Jamerson regarding Black immigration into western Canada as well as the Black experience in the prairies, specifically northern Alberta Black communities. The first file in the fonds consists of this narrative while the second file consists of newspaper clippings, family photographs, an anniversary booklet of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, and correspondence used by Jamerson in the creation of his narrative.

The minutes detail activities and structure of the Association during the period of 1914 to 1916 including administration, social activities for members, and interactions with government.
