Atkins, John D.The collection consists of Edmonton Exhibition buttons, first day covers promoting Edmonton and Klondike Days and a postcard. The materials dates from 1926 to 1971.
McCuaig, John C.This collection consists of material collected by John C. Dickins on his father "Punch" Dickins, including his own reflections on his father's life, a laser copied picture of Punch Dickins, advertisements for artwork that includes Punch, and an obituary from the London Weekly Telegraph (U.K.).
Dickins, John C.This fonds consists of a membership certificate, National Fire Protection Association International, for John Booth, May 1940 and various photographs of displays by the fire department.
The photographs also include a panorama of the fire department’s new fleet of motorized fire-fighting equipment that replaced horse-drawn rigs.
The fonds also includes a report from the enquiry into the 1949 fire at the Northern Hardware Building in Edmonton which burned for three days (351.9 WES).
Booth, JohnThe fonds consists of a photocopy of the 1884-1885 ledger (stock book) for John A. McDougall and Co., which includes records of liabilities, notes and bad or doubtful debts.
McDougall, John Alexander
The fonds consists of business and family records of John A.L. McDougall. The business records cover their land, lumber and coal business activities including sales made by the company, court actions regarding unpaid debts and lands they owned in the other parts of Alberta, specifically Keephills and Telfordville.
The family records include correspondence between family members (copied from the photographic postcards), medals and a souvenir pamphlet from the inauguration of Alberta, 1905.
The photographs include family members, friends, buildings and events in Edmonton, as well as lumber activities.
John A.L. McDougall FamilyThe fonds consists of family and homesteading records belonging to Johan A. Siden. The family correspondence includes letters to “Dad” (from Tony), “Mom and Dad” (from Nora, includes references to brother Tony and husband Bill), “Mr & Mrs Siden” (from Mary and Carl, with references to Nora and Bill, Fritz and Edmond), and “Sir” (from Edmond).
There is also an invoice from Dr. Peter Farney & Sons, Co., Chicago, and an advertising card for ‘Davis & Lawrence Asparagus Kidney Pills’.
The homesteading documents relate to obtaining entry for homesteading, record of road work in lieu of taxes, requests for information from the Dominion Bureau of Statistics including agricultural surveys (Survey of Crops and Live Stock June 1944; Live Stock and Poultry Survey, December 1944), receipt for medications, record of special grant payment.
The fonds consists of brochures, booklets and photographs on various subjects including Strathcona Composite High School, Edmonton weather, David Kilgour M.P., Molson's Edmonton House, the North Star Chapter of the Acacia Masonic Lodge, and the Old Timers Baseball Association. There are also family documents for Private W.D. McAllister, including a rationing order book (1918), Canadian Discharge note giving permission for leave, note for permission to marry, a printed note from Buckingham Palace giving thanks for service and a letter from Grant MacEwan, Lieutenant-Governer of Alberta (1966).

The fonds consists of the records pertaining to the life and career of James "Jim" Yee [囯伩]. The records include photographs of his family, friends, home, and travels from childhood to retirement. Photographs also include his attendance at the Redress of the Chinese Head Tax in Ottawa in 2006 and his involvement in the Edmonton Chinese Christian Church. The fonds incudes textual records of Jim's career as a mechanic and landlord including certificates, licenses, correspondence, reference letters and customer surveys. Jim worked for a range of companies in Edmonton including Crosstown, Kingsway Toyota and the City of Edmonton. The fonds also includes genealogical research, a pin, a patch and a painting by S. Chen of Jim and George Yee.
Yee, JimThe fonds consists of articles collected by Jim Mitchell about places in Alberta, the Northwest territories, and British Columbia and dating from 1890 to 1979. There are also notes relating to the Mitchell homestead in Edmonton and a story about the Francis C. Clare family.
