Based on a map by Lieutenant Vavasour of the Royal Engineers, 1846.
The fonds consists of sheet music collected and used by Mary Hanratty. The music is a variety of sacred and popular songs.
Sin títuloThe fonds consists of sheet music belonging to various members of the Burrill and Field famiilies, but mostly Emerson L. Burrill and his wife, Myrtle I. Field Burrill.
Most pieces are annotated with initials or signatures: E.L. Burrill, E.L.B., Myrtle Field, M.I Field, or M.I. Burrill. A few pieces, annotated Ethel L. Field, are assumed to belong to Myrtle's sister, Ethel Louella Field.
Other pieces have no initials, signatures or annotations. It is possible, perhaps likely, that these pieces belonged to Violet S. Field.
The music is mostly sacred and spiritual, but also includes popular and patriotic works.
Note: the annotation on some Burrill pieces appears as if it could be E.S. Burrill. However it is suspected to be a short-hand fancy script for E.L. Burrill. The handwriting is identical and there are no other Burrill family members with the initials 'E.S.'.

This work was painted by John McCullson. While nothing is currently known about the artist, the work depicts the salvage effort of the Gerona of Dundee, Scotland. The ship was stranded October 27, 1892 within 30 yards of land at Skisa Head, Caithness, Scotland. It was bound for Montreal with 1,100 tons of general cargo, a crew of 36 and 12 passengers. It is believed that this painting reflects the experience of some Western Europeans who emigrated to Edmonton at the turn of the twentieth century, and it may have an as-yet-undiscovered connection with other records in the collection at the City of Edmonton Archives

Sin títuloThe series consists of records of Alexander J.H. McCauley, predominantly musical programmes, many of which list him as the pianist or accompanist. The other programmes where he is not listed, it is presumed these were concerts or performances that Alexander attended.
