This fonds contains the records created by the Computing Resources Department and its predecessors and successors. The material was created through the process of planning for, and making available, computer resources to departments throughout the City.

Although the material retains its original order at the accession level, it has been described as two series:

• Series 1: Management Studies, Systems and Budget Department
• Series 2: Computer Systems and Development Department
• Series 3: Information Technology Branch

This series contains the records of the Building Inspection Branch of the Bylaw Enforcement Department. It currently has a single series:

Fonds consists of committee minutes, correspondence, and reports relating to the activities of the Edmonton Ambulance Authority and the Emergency Medical Services Department. It includes records related to human resources management, strategic planning, procedures, orders, multiple casualty emergencies, and the 1984 visit of Pope John Paul II.

An order has been imposed on the material. The arrangement includes 3 series. The series are as follows:

The fonds consists of materials created by Julian Suski of Edmonton between 1955 and 1968. This fonds consists of a copy of the Canadian Federation of Municipalities Inquiry on Municipal Administration, reports, surveys of various cities, correspondence, materials gathered during European study tour, materials relating to the Council on Urban and Regional Research, proposals made to the City of Edmonton, booklets, organizational charts, statistics, history of the city and organizational annual reports.

The fonds consists of materials created by David Leadbeater of Edmonton between 1974 and 1977. The fonds consists of minutes, budgets, reports, brochures and other materials derived from City Council committees during the period that Mr. Leadbeater was an alderman.

• The collection consists of a copy of the "The Evening Journal", Saturday, September 2, 1905, with headlines 'Alberta, A Province' and 'History in the Making in Alberta's New Capital'.
• Photographs of Edmonton taken between ca. 1905 and ca. 1950, including Legislature Building and Grounds, Victoria Park, Whitemud, Rossdale Power Plant, Whitemud Bridge, River Valley Road, Central Skating Rink, Helen Ramsay at Ramsay Home, 11008 - 100 Avenue CPR Overpass c. 1914, Robertson Church, High Level Bridge under construction, Legislature Building Under Construction, North Saskatchewan View, Streetcar on High Level Bridge, Macdonald Hotel, Hudson's Bay Store, T. Eaton Co., Pantages Theatre, Welcome Home of 49th Battalion in 1919 and aerial of Edmonton Looking North from Saskatchewan Drive.

• The fonds consists of materials created or collected by Peter Hawker. This fonds consists of a manuscript biography of Richard Secord
• a copy of a proclamation "uniting the Provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
• a copy of the 1918 "Globe and Mail" Winnipeg General Strike edition
• and other souvenir newspaper editions. There are also maps showing: electric generating systems and stations, dated 1961-1962 and oil and gas fields in Western Canada, dated 1975. There are two books: "John Rowand" and "Fort Edmonton: Fur Trade Entrepot "[warehouse] and special edition anniversary postal envelopes transported by dogsled and York boat.

The fonds consists of materials created by William Hawrelak between 1920 and 1976. The bulk of this collection consists of personal correspondence, newspaper clippings (some in Ukrainian), public relations material, legal contracts, and personal artifacts. Fifty photographs, originally found in the collection, have been removed and catalogued separately. The majority of the material in this collection was organized in annually labeled files in chronological order. Wherever possible, the original order of this collection was maintained. However, in some cases files with annual titles (e.g. 1940) were retitled according to content and class titles. It should be noted that while the title for this collection bears William Hawrelak's name, a large portion was produced by, or is related to the entire Hawrelak family. The early history in this collection contains material directly related to William Hawrelak's father, William Hawrelak senior. Mr. Hawrelak's wife, Pearl Porter, was also responsible for a large amount of the material generated in this collection. This fonds has been divided into the following Series or Classes:

• Class 1: Early Family History records
• Class 2: Personal records
• Class 3: Political and business records
• Class 4: Porter Inquiry records
• Class 5: Scrapbooks. In many cases it was not possible to separate personal, political and business records and these subjects may be found in various classes.
• MS-327.1: This fonds primarily consists of materials in Ukrainian, including folk song books, religious books, map of the Ukraine, and a Medal. This fonds also includes a copy of "Through the Years in the Province of Alberta" (1967).
