Emily Murphy fonds

The fonds consists of a series of scrapbooks compiled by Emily Murphy covering all aspects of her varied career and dating from 1906 to 1933. The records include correspondence, reports and other material relating to her work as a magistrate as well as manuscripts of some of her many articles. Some of the material relating to Mrs. Murphy was collected by her daughter, Evelyn Gowan Murphy, after Mrs. Murphy died. Scrapbooks include clippings concerning the death of Arthur Murphy and the lives of Evelyn and her sister, Emily Kenwood.
The photographs include 2 of Emily Murphy and 2 of dust jackets from her books “Janey Canuck In The West” and “Open Trails”.

Robert H. Johnston fonds

The collection consists of two group portrait photographs of students and teachers at the Edmonton High School. The school was located on 108th Avenue between 101 and 104 Streets and later became known as Victoria High School.
One photo is of the Executive of the High School Literary Society which was a school club interested in literature and debating and also published a newsletter, The High School Topics.
Robert H. Johnston is in both photographs.

The fonds consists of photographs from the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce's in-house collection. Many of the photographs are by the Byron-May Company, who were commissioned by the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce to create brochures promoting Edmonton as an up and coming city.

The photographs are of early Edmonton and include buildings, street scenes, city and farm scenes, animals, agriculture, people and events.

Reed's China and Gift Shop fonds

The fonds consists records and photographs created or accumulated by the Reed or Clarke families of Reed’s Fine China and Gifts.
The photographs include interiors and exteriors of Reed’s stores as well as photos of William Reed, Russell Clarke and some members of their families and staff.

Fonds consists of photographs of Edmonton Cigar Factory and lacrosse team. Thomas H. MacQueen worked at the factory and played on the lacrosse team. Also included in the fonds is a photograph of a skyline view of Edmonton.

Mann, Williamson Family fonds

The fonds consists of records belonging to Samuel Williamson and his daughter Margaret Williamson Mann. They include the ceremonial pamphlet for the 1905 Inauguration of Alberta containing congratulatory messages from King Edward VII and Sir Alfred Lyttelton, British Colonial Secretary, as well as the speeches by Prime Minister Sir Wilfrid Laurier and Governor General Earl Grey. There is also a metal button for the Children’s Parade of the Inauguration Ceremonies.

The photographs include Samuel and Robert Williamson at the 3rd Annual Alberta-Saskatchewan Excursion to California in 1913.
