This fonds consists of documents relating to Andrekson’s work as a volunteer for various organizations. The majority of the material is related to Andrekson’s work with the Edmonton Civic Centennial Committee, an organization formed to celebrate Canada’s 100th anniversary of Confederation.

The remainder of the material consists of records from Andrekson’s other activities as a volunteer, namely as part of the Commonwealth Games hosted in Edmonton in 1978, and the 1983 Universiade Games, also hosted in Edmonton. The records related to these events are comprised of both organizational material, such as minutes and reports of the boards, as well as promotional material meant to be given to the public or displayed during the specific events.

The photographs are of events at Universiade ’83, including the opening and closing ceremonies and a variety of athletic events.

Some photographs are of Kaleidoscope ’83, the cultural arm of Universiade ’83, which consisted of a variety of cultural performances and displays held during the Universiade games.

The fonds (or collection) consists of meeting minutes, correspondence, member obituaries, initiation ceremony scripts, membership lists, and some constitution and bylaw booklets of the main Canukeena Club organization that were distributed to its smaller branches. Also included are three lapel pins that were given to members in good standing upon their initiation. The photograph consists of the last meeting of the Canukeena Club of Edmonton’s members.

This fonds consists of records pertaining to the Lady Aberdeen League from 1964 to 1996 including meeting minutes, correspondence, insurance records, and financial records. Also included in the fonds are correspondence with children the League sponsored through the Foster Parents Plan of Canada. The financial records include ledgers, receipts, invoices, and statements. These records align with the main function of the League, which was to provide financial support to charitable organizations. The fonds also consists of an Ice Capades program the League sold, certificates, and a history of the League.

The series consists of records pertaining to the Alberta Rugby Union (ARU) from 1967 to 1989 including annual reports, handbooks, correspondence, by-laws, certificate of incorporation and financial records. These records provide representation of the relationship between the Edmonton Rugby Union and the ARU.
