William P. Wagner fonds

The fonds consists of textual records and photographs created and collected by the donor. The photographs include street scenes of Jasper Avenue [ca. 1914, 1969], William’s teaching and educational administration career [ca. 1930, 1964], Vera Smith [ca. 1900, 1960] and the students of Queen’s Avenue School, 1909 (it is likely William is in the photo).

The fonds also includes photographs of Edmonton and the Edmonton area from the 1940s.

The fonds consists of materials created or collected by Hilda Mary Robinson during her role as a librarian and volunteer. These organizations and institutions include Northwest Industries Limited, the University of Alberta, All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Concordia College, Edmonton Klondike Days, the Library Association of Alberta, the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, and the Royal Canadian Legion. The records of each of these organizations consist of publications, correspondence with members, and some notes Hilda Robinson might have taken while attending a meeting of the organization. Also included are various published materials from institutions that Hilda Robinson was employed by or volunteered for. Most of the materials are Concordia yearbooks which included staff member photos that included Hilda Robinson as a library staff member.

There is also a history, minutes and newsletter of the Edmonton Treasure Hunters (1982-1986) later called the Edmonton Metal Detector Club (1989-1993)
  • a souvenir program from the Edmonton Flying Club tribute to Tommy Fox, a documentation of bird migration patterns for Edmonton and area, and various papers of the Alberta Fish and Game Association, 1958-1993. Other magazines, almanacs and photographs are catalogued separately.
