Operations

This series contains material related to the operations of the Edmonton Ambulance Authority and the Emergency Medical Services Department. It has been divided into the following four subseries:

  • Subseries 3.1: Procedures
  • Subseries 3.2: Routine Orders
  • Subseries 3.3: Operational Reports
  • Subseries 3.4: Papal Visit

Administrative Records

Series consists of reports, correspondence, and speeches relating to the various functions performed by the Analytical Services, Computer Systems, Computer Operations branches of the Management Services Department.

Printing and Reproductions Branch

Microfilm and Records Branch

Series consists of 35mm aperture cards of gas plans created by the Microfilm and Records Branch, as well as three photographs which came from the branch director. Two photos depict the Grierson Hill Dump in 1931, and one is a copy of a 1969 aerial photograph showing the area around 97 Street and 103A Avenue.

Administration

The series consists of meeting minutes, agreements, financial records, personnel records, correspondence, and other material generated through the business conducted at the Municipal Airport.
An order has been imposed on the material. The arrangement includes four sub-series, which are as follows:

  • Sub-series 1.1 – Reports, minutes, general orders and record keeping
  • Sub-series 1.2 – Finance
  • Sub-series 1.3 – Buildings
  • Sub-series 1.4 – Human Resources (Restricted)

Correspondence

The series consist of correspondence between Municipal Airport officials and City employees, other levels of government, clients, and private individuals relating to the operation of the Municipal Airport.

Airport Tenants

This series consist of records relating to tenants of the airport, including leases, agreements, and correspondence with government organizations and private companies conducting business on airport land.

Administration

This series contains financial records, correspondence and memoranda relating to the work of the department, as well as resources used by its employees. The series includes a bookkeeping ledger used to track aggregate credits and debits between 1956 and 1974.

Edmonton Financial Accounts (1892-1915)

This series includes correspondence, ledgers and receipts. This series contains the following classes:

  • Class 1: Journal detailing income and expenditures, 1892-1915
  • Class 2: Cash book detailing income and expenditures, 1892-1902
  • Class 3: Ledger detailing finances of various departments and listing the major areas of public expenditure, 1892-1899 (includes index)
  • Class 4 : Ledger detailing the financial situation of the Town and listing the major areas of expenditure and sources of revenue, 1899-1904 (includes index)
  • Class 5: Two cheque books, 1894-1896
  • Class 6: Correspondence, receipts and financial statements, 1896-1904
