FIC - Found in clippings collectionThe fonds consists of materials created by William Hawrelak between 1920 and 1976. The bulk of this collection consists of personal correspondence, newspaper clippings (some in Ukrainian), public relations material, legal contracts, and personal artifacts. Fifty photographs, originally found in the collection, have been removed and catalogued separately. The majority of the material in this collection was organized in annually labeled files in chronological order. Wherever possible, the original order of this collection was maintained. However, in some cases files with annual titles (e.g. 1940) were retitled according to content and class titles. It should be noted that while the title for this collection bears William Hawrelak's name, a large portion was produced by, or is related to the entire Hawrelak family. The early history in this collection contains material directly related to William Hawrelak's father, William Hawrelak senior. Mr. Hawrelak's wife, Pearl Porter, was also responsible for a large amount of the material generated in this collection. This fonds has been divided into the following Series or Classes:
