This fonds consists of a copy of Canadian Florist, Aug. 16, 1958, containing an article on Walter Ramsay, “Alberta pioneer florist”, by Rene Hobbins, p. 8. The photograph is of the Ramsay home and greenhouses, Victoria Ave., between 110 St. and 111 St., Edmonton AB, [ca. 1914].
The fonds consists of photographs of Edmonton taken by Eric R. Crouch. They include skylines, buildings, bridges, the Legislative Grounds and various cityscapes taken from the roofs of downtown buildings.
The fonds consists of photographs of people, nature, weather, buildings, street scenes and events in Edmonton, as well as some self-portraits and still lifes. Of special interest are sequential photographs of storms and weather events, as well as building demolition and construction, notably the Molson’s Brewery building on 104 Avenue.
The fonds consists of correspondence, meeting minutes and supporting documents, reports and legislation relating to the Steering Committee, Foundation of Cultural Heritage and the Edmonton Community Foundation, 1970-1971. The fonds also includes a portrait photograph of Merrill Wolfe, 1975, that was used for an Edmonton Historical Board award.
