This is a small series, but one that may well expand as further accruals are received. The records consist of documents related to GATE’s Gay and Lesbian Youth Group, the Pink Triangle Youth Group of Edmonton and other GLCCE youth initiatives. The bulk of the series consists of printed resources and reference materials related to counselling gay and lesbian youth; related youth studies and reports; and some correspondence. Included with the papers are three pink triangle t-shirts created for Pride ’92 week.
This series consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, and financial statements whose originating Lodge is unknown. The series also contains reports and proceedings of the Rebekah Assembly of Alberta, as well as collected histories and publications from other administrative bodies within the I.O.O.F.
This series includes reports to City Council from the Commissioners. Council would request information from administration through the City Commissioners. The Commissioners would then submit reports to council, which were referenced in Council minutes. These reports were for informational purposes, but laid the foundation for decisions by Council on a variety of issues. This series has been divided into two subseries.
The series consists of various programmes, newsletters and news clippings pertaining to theatre in Edmonton, collected by various members of the Macdonald and Clifton families. However as several members of the Macdonald and Clifton families were involved in theatre, it is not specifically clear who collected what material, hence attributed to the family in general.
