This series contains records created by Paul Norris while serving as an Alderman in the City of Edmonton. The majority of the records are alphabetical subject files of correspondence and council inquiries. There are also several boxes of correspondence with his constituents arranged chronologically. Some issues included in the constituents' correspondence also appear in the subject files.

This series consists of records related to the City Clerk's Office. This series contains the following subseries:
1.1 Bylaws and Licenses
This subseries contains correspondence, drafts, final copy, and enforcement regulations relating to bylaws and licenses enacted in the city.
1.2 Elections and Census
This subseries contains correspondence, drafts, promotional materials, information circulars, and other materials relating to elections and census studies held in the city.
1.3 Shared Management Services
This subseries contains records which deal with the number of services which were provided to many or all of the City's departments. This includes printing services, advertising and promotions, communications, information technology (IT) services, the Civic Garage, the legal department, the stores and works department, and the coordination of civic special events (such as VIP visits, anniversary celebrations and commemorations of historic events).
1.4 Mayor / Council Inquiries & Correspondence
This subseries contains correspondence, to and from the Mayor, Commissioners, and Councilors relating to issues raised for council action, including complaints and inquiries.
1.5 Departmental Reports / Policies
This subseries contains reports prepared by City departments, and policies and procedures they proposed to be approved by the Councilors.
1.6 Personnel / City Employees
This subseries contains correspondence and procedures dealing with city employees, including negotiations with unions, contract staff, benefits, and attendance at conferences.
1.7 Advisory and Standing Committees
This subseries contains correspondence, reports, action requests, and other administrative materials relating to committees struck by and reporting to City Council.
This sub-series contains correspondence, reports, minutes, and other material relating to City recreation facilities. It also contains material from community organizations that worked closely with recreation facility staff.
Richard H. Secord's daily journal includes notes on his business transactions in the fur trade, agriculture and store, his social activities including his marriage to Annie York in August 1891, as well as events in the Edmonton community.
Note - some entries written by his wife Annie Secord.
The filelist is a transcript of selected entries from the journal - it is not a complete transcription of the entire journal.
This sub-series consists of one file created by Albert Edward Ottewell, Chairman, and one file created by Alfred Russell, Secretary. The files contain correspondence relating to the acquisition of information about establishing a civic archives committee, draft and final minutes, and reports.
The subseries contains the following two files:
- File 1 - Chairman's Files (1938-1944)
- File 2 - Secretary's Files (1938-1940)
The series consists of records pertaining to the operation and administrative functions of the Edmonton Art Gallery. Included in the series are financial records, reports, correspondence, certificates, and promotional materials. Also included in the series are plans relating to the acquisition of land for new gallery, records related to the Edmonton Art Club, and architecture design drawings for the gallery.
The series also includes records from the Blow Condell family who donated money to build the Edmonton Art Gallery in 1962. The building was named the Arthur Blow Condell Memorial Building after Dr. William Newton and Abigail Edith Condell's son who died in 1910.
This work was submitted to the Edmonton Art Club Easter Exhibition, 1968.
The series consists of records pertaining to the governance and administration of the St. David's Welsh Society from 1966 to 2007. Records include minutes, reports, correspondence, and membership lists. Also included in the series are minutes and correspondence from the St. David's Welsh Society Welsh Ladies Auxiliary.
