Curely Johnstone, #96, is ready to help on the tackle. The play ended on the Edmonton 42-yard line (newspaper clipping).

Unidentified Lion gets firm hold on Bright's waist before bringing him down. Bill Walker (#75), Eskimos end, is at left. The Eskimos are the Canadian champions (newspaper clipping).

  • San Francisco - By Bailey, Vancouver back, is stopped after only a two yard gain in fourth quarter of Canadian exhibition game, in which the ball changed sides repeatedly as each team sought to extend their score before the final gun. Bailey was brought down by John Bright and Art Walker of the Eskimos. #97 at left is Maurey Duncan of the Lions. At right is Roger Nelson of the Eskimos. The Edmonton Eskimos won 9 to 6 (newspaper clipping).
