This series consists of Laura Holland's 1939 report and annual reports from the Edmonton Social Planning Council. Files are listed according to the Council's name at the time of the annual report's creation. Also included in this series are reports from several annual meetings and a single annual report from the Welfare Information Service.

This fonds contains a written history of the Edmonton Roughnecks Recreation Association, as well as photographs of the Roughnecks' various teams and members. The photographs have been described by Gregory Barker as part of a project in which he aimed to describe and identify the individuals in photographs present in MS-595, Series 7. As a result, some of the photographs in this fonds are duplicates of photographs in MS-595, Series 7. Also included are Gregory Barker's digital copies of all records in the fonds.

Also included in the series are documents pertaining to the roles and functions of the Council such as bylaws, terms of reference, manuals and the signed certificate of incorporation for the council.
The Board of Directors took part in many of the Council's committees which are also represented in this series. Some of the committees included are the Personnel Committee, Planning Committee, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Communications Committee, Program Committee, Policy Committee, Christmas Bureau Committee, and Daycare Committee, among others.
Board of Directors minutes were originally filled together by year. Minutes include additional supporting documentation used and/or created by the Board of Directors including reports, statements, studies and correspondence.
Sem títuloThis series contains material related to the Garneau Community League’s involvement with casino and bingo events. The Community League, as a registered charitable organization, was eligible to participate in Alberta’s “Charitable Gaming Model” which allows charitable organizations and religious organizations to conduct and manage casino and bingo events. The profits derived from these events go towards funding the League’s service delivery. It was with the proceeds that the League funded building the Garneau Community Centre. These records include licenses, volunteer lists, financial reports, minutes, and correspondence. Also included are materials related to the South Edmonton Bingo Association.
