The fonds consists of fifteen speeches made by George Van Allen during his political career on topics including agriculture, the oil industry, social services, provincial debt, the Depression, a reply to the Speech from the Throne, the Social Credit Party, the provincial budget, and the Prosperity Certificates Act of 1936. Also included are laser copies of photographs of George Van Allen as well as a black and white copy of a photograph Van Allen at his desk.

The correspondence highlight the EWG's interactions with various art institutions and organizations including the Alberta Arts Council, Canadian Craftsmen Association, Hand Weavers, Spinners and Dyers of Alberta, University of Alberta's Department of Art and Design, Alberta Art Foundation, Canadian Crafts Council, Association of Northwest Weavers Guild, along with many other weavers' guilds throughout Canada and the United States.

The fonds also consists of the EWG by-laws, a file on the history of the EWG complied by Helen Bentley, and a history of weaving in Alberta from 1945. Included in the fonds are 8 colour photographs of wall pieces designed and woven by Grace Raitt and 1 photograph of a woven design attached to a greeting card.

This fonds consists of the Planned Parenthood Association of Edmonton (P.P.A.E.)’s Archive, which was created to capture the history and the important records relating to birth control, sexuality, health, and sex education in Canada between 1964 - 1999. Their Archive contains news clippings, reports, resource guides, and newsletters. In addition to the P.P.A.E. Archive, this fonds also contains correspondence, meeting minutes, volunteer information, annual reports, and promotional material relating to the P.P.A.E..

This fonds consists of records pertaining to the Lady Aberdeen League from 1964 to 1996 including meeting minutes, correspondence, insurance records, and financial records. Also included in the fonds are correspondence with children the League sponsored through the Foster Parents Plan of Canada. The financial records include ledgers, receipts, invoices, and statements. These records align with the main function of the League, which was to provide financial support to charitable organizations. The fonds also consists of an Ice Capades program the League sold, certificates, and a history of the League.

Also included are photocopies of documents provided by the Walter family. In addition, this fonds contains 27 photographs provided by the Walter family.
