This series consists of drawings with either no company identification or company identification with no known relation to James Stephens. These have been separated into this series and retained for their value as drawing with identifiable locations or other aesthetic value.

This series includes numerous drawings for interior murals which Stephens is known to have done both while working under Golden and in his own firm James Noble Stephens Ltd.

The final file in this series is drawings from C. Talbot Larrington, The Dominion Construction Co. Ltd and Engineering Enterprise. It is not known how or why Stephens came into possession of these drawings.

The series consists of textual records and photographs predominantly pertaining to Harold and Winnifred Ross, and to a lesser extent their daughter Jeane. The textual records includes postcards written from Winnie to some of her family and from Harold to Winnie shortly before they were married. Some photographs include other family members of the Ross and Thompson families. The records reflect Harold and Winnie’s life from coming west as young single adults, becoming a family in Edmonton before Harold went off to war, and Winnie’s later life on the farm in Millet.

The series consists of Hector’s diaries, documenting his daily life of farming, as well as family and community events. Hector wrote in the diaries every day from 1 Jan 1936 to 11 Jul 1967. The records also include some invoices, receipts, and correspondence.

The series consists of family and business records of Matthew McCauley and his family. The family records include biographies on Matthew McCauley and his family. There are also family history narratives, family tree sheets, and some photocopies of photographs.

The business records are for Matthew McCauley’s butcher shop and cartage businesses. The ledgers list the daily transactions or general accounts of the businesses, which include the names of many (now well known) Edmonton families and the costs of the material, product or service provided (ex: hay, meat, livery, hauling and cartage).

The photographs include the first train across the North Saskatchewan River, Matthew’s children, and the First Presbyterian Church Choir.
