The fonds consists of photographs taken by Edgar Millen while serving in Canada’s north as an officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The photographs include images depicting the Arctic, where Millen was stationed, as well as several photos of Millen’s funeral and a cairn erected in his honour.
The fonds consists of textual and photographic records of some of the Magee family members, mostly those who settled in Alberta, and predominantly Hannah Magee.

There are minutes and other documents of the Edmonton Hospital Board from its inception in 1913 to 1960, including minutes of three organizations created to support the board - the Royal Alexandra Hospital Association (1913-1926), Strathcona Hospital Committee (1913-1915) and Isolation Hospital Committee (1913-1914). There are also materials placed in the cornerstone of the Royal Alexandra Hospital in 1910.

The fonds consists of a series of scrapbooks compiled by Emily Murphy covering all aspects of her varied career and dating from 1906 to 1933. The records include correspondence, reports and other material relating to her work as a magistrate as well as manuscripts of some of her many articles. Some of the material relating to Mrs. Murphy was collected by her daughter, Evelyn Gowan Murphy, after Mrs. Murphy died. Scrapbooks include clippings concerning the death of Arthur Murphy and the lives of Evelyn and her sister, Emily Kenwood.
The photographs include 2 of Emily Murphy and 2 of dust jackets from her books “Janey Canuck In The West” and “Open Trails”.
