The collection consists of predominately published materials and photographs collected by Eva McKitrick between 1909 and 1990. The textual records relate to the history of Edmonton and Canada's Indigenous People, and were split into two series along these topics. The photographs predominately document the McKitrick family and their travels and work around Canada.

The collection consists of a songbook and photograph album from Alberta College (1920) and souvenirs of the Edmonton Grads Basketball team. There is also a manuscript entitled "Flashing Clouds" written by Agnes Stuart.

This collection consists of the history of the Edmonton Public School Board (1885-1935), a souvenir program of the Edmonton Exhibition (1926), the constitution of the Prince Albert Club, and brand registrations. Photographs are catalogued separately.
