The collection consists of a brochure (2 copies) for the "Patriotic Day Service" for Edmonton schools, held Thursday June 30, 1927 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Confederation of Canada.
The collection also includes a set of books – ‘The Principles and Practice of Modern House-Construction (1899) Including Water-Supply and Fittings-Sanitary Fittings and Plumbing-Drainage and Sewage-Disposal-Warming Ventilation-Lighting-Sanitary Aspects of Furniture and Decoration-Climate and Situation Stables-Sanitary Law’ (6 volumes – 690 SUT).
The fonds consists of momentoes relating to events held during the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. These include invitations, programmes, passes and cards, and most are inscribed with J.M. Douglas’s name.
The photographs include personal photos of J.M. Douglas, including a photo of his father in front of the J.M. Douglas house in Strathcona.

Jones, John T.This collection consists of material collected by Karen Rowswell through her involvement in social movement organizations. The collection includes newspaper clippings, magazine articles, journal publications, photographs, posters, booklets, resource guides, and pamphlets relating to feminism, the anti-war movement, and political ideologies. The material is largely from the 1960s and 1970s, with some records dating between 1980-1994.

Dennison, Louis O.This fonds consists of documents relating to Andrekson’s work as a volunteer for various organizations. The majority of the material is related to Andrekson’s work with the Edmonton Civic Centennial Committee, an organization formed to celebrate Canada’s 100th anniversary of Confederation.
The remainder of the material consists of records from Andrekson’s other activities as a volunteer, namely as part of the Commonwealth Games hosted in Edmonton in 1978, and the 1983 Universiade Games, also hosted in Edmonton. The records related to these events are comprised of both organizational material, such as minutes and reports of the boards, as well as promotional material meant to be given to the public or displayed during the specific events.
The photographs are of events at Universiade ’83, including the opening and closing ceremonies and a variety of athletic events.
Some photographs are of Kaleidoscope ’83, the cultural arm of Universiade ’83, which consisted of a variety of cultural performances and displays held during the Universiade games.
Andrekson, Margaret WeirThe fonds consists of handbills and large and midsized posters created by Nightlife Promotions Ltd. The publications feature advertisements for various Edmonton events, theatrical productions, dances, festivals, nightclubs, and attractions.
Nightlife Promotion Ltd.The fonds consists of panorama photographs of banquets of local associations, including the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire, Independent Order of Foresters and Northern Alberta Pioneers & Old Timers Association Banquet. There is also a panorama photograph of the Westlawn Bowling Club.
It is likely Nora’s parents were members of these associations.
The fonds consists of textual records, historical documents, photographs, paintings and maps gathered by NAPOTA in support of the association’s goal of preserving the history of Edmonton.
