Terwillegar, Norman LlewellynThe fonds consists of five letters written by Dr. Thomas H. Whitelaw and sent to periodicals based in eastern Canada. The narratives describe Whitelaw’s journey across Canada by rail and his perspective of the town during the closing days of the Klondike. Whitelaw also sets himself a vocal proponent of Edmonton by encouraging people to move west and take advantage of the growing community.
Also included in the records is a prescription written on Dr. Whitelaw’s prescription pad dated April 26th, 1899.
The photographs consist of an image of Main Street Edmonton (looking west in August 1898), an image of one of Edmonton’s mines, an image of mine workers, and a composite image of the Edmonton Y.M.C.A Maple Leaf Club membership from 1914 - 1915.

Also included in the fonds are minutes, reports, and cases dealt with by the Visiting Committee, later known as the Advisory Committee, and minutes from the Committee on Unemployment.
Edmonton Board of Public WelfareThe fonds consists of photos taken by Eric Bland for the Edmonton Bulletin in the last five years of the Bulletin’s existence (April 1947-January 1951) (EA-600). The photos include Edmonton personalities, accidents, events, clubs and societies, buildings (including churches, schools and hospitals), commerce, industry, transportation and military.
The fonds also includes images used in the publication 'Edmonton Bulletin Special Edition 1911' (EB-26). This publication gave a history of Edmonton to that point. The photographs include people, houses, buildings businesses, street scenes, bridges and transportation.
The fonds consists of photographs from the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce's in-house collection. Many of the photographs are by the Byron-May Company, who were commissioned by the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce to create brochures promoting Edmonton as an up and coming city.
The photographs are of early Edmonton and include buildings, street scenes, city and farm scenes, animals, agriculture, people and events.
