McKernan, William J.
CA EDM MS-360 · Fonds · 1893 - 1916

The fonds consists of day book receipts, cash books, stock lists, and account ledgers created during the operation of McLean & Company Hardware. Customer names and their purchases are collected in the day book receipts, with some customer accounts reflecting outstanding debits. An unused counter sales book has also been included with the records and bears custom printing with the McLean & Company Hardware name. The McLean & Company Current Ledger and Monthly Statements have been preserved in their original, custom bindings to reflect how the records were used and added to as needed.

The photographs include images of the McLean Family, the McLean house, landmarks around the McLean home, and of the hardware store. There are some notations on the backs of the images, though most are untitled.
