This fonds consists of records produced by the Edmonton Hockey Club during its existence from 1896 to 1910. Materials include correspondence, player contracts, minutes, receipts, and postcards. Also included in the fonds are photographs of various sports clubs and athletes in Edmonton such as the bowling team, baseball players, skiers, and track runners. Records also relate to hockey in Alberta and the Alberta Amateur Hockey League.
Edmonton Hockey ClubThe fonds consists of textual records and photographs created or collected by Hubert A. Hollingworth. The textual records reflect Hollingworth’s business and photography work, as well as his family and household life. There are also records where it is not known how they are specifically related to Hollingworth, so it has been assumed he collected the pieces. These records, as well as the books and maps, reflect Hollingworth's variety of interests.
The photographs cover a wide array of Edmonton including buildings and street scenes, activities and events, as well as people and businesses.
The photograph records are divided into two series:
Series 1 – Hollingworth Photographs.
Series 2 – Glass Slide Photographs.
This fonds consists of personal papers of John J. Duggan as well as some records for the Town/City of Strathcona, including Duggan’s mayoral candidacy.
The photographs are predominantly of the activities of the Old Timers’ association but there is also one of the first hand car into Edmonton.
The fonds consists of 6 photographs of the Henderson family and their farms. Also included in the fonds is a group photograph of early surveyors.
Henderson FamilyThe fonds consists of three scrapbooks created by Eddie McDougall containing newspaper articles, photographs, poems, and pictures relating to the McDougall family and Edmonton from the 1890s to the 1930s.

Lucas, LouisThe fonds consists of photographs of the Moreau family, their home, and store.
Moreau FamilyThe fonds consists of five letters written by Dr. Thomas H. Whitelaw and sent to periodicals based in eastern Canada. The narratives describe Whitelaw’s journey across Canada by rail and his perspective of the town during the closing days of the Klondike. Whitelaw also sets himself a vocal proponent of Edmonton by encouraging people to move west and take advantage of the growing community.
Also included in the records is a prescription written on Dr. Whitelaw’s prescription pad dated April 26th, 1899.
The photographs consist of an image of Main Street Edmonton (looking west in August 1898), an image of one of Edmonton’s mines, an image of mine workers, and a composite image of the Edmonton Y.M.C.A Maple Leaf Club membership from 1914 - 1915.
Whitelaw, Thomas H. (Dr.)The fonds consists of programs and brochures relating to the opening of Grace Martin School, as well as a biographical sketch of Grace Martin McEachern.
The photographs include the Martin farm where Grace grew up, Strathcona teachers including David McEachern and the Strathcona fire brigade.
