Earl Grey's visit to Edmonton. Imperial Bank
This fonds consists of an original letter written in 1894 by John William Clutton to a friend in England, who had shipped a potato-tilling plough to Mr. Clutton. The letter recounts pioneer life and farming in the Beaumont area. It includes references to ‘Gough’, a young man whom Clutton had recruited from England for help and Sandy Lake.
