This fonds consists of publications, plays, and newspaper articles written by Cyril Wates, as well as assorted correspondence and records relating to the Edmonton chapter of the Alpine Club of Canada. The fonds also contains an article and correspondence of Helen Adela (Burns) Wates, as well as photographs of Helen Adela (Burns) Wates' family, ca. 1870-1880, Cyril Wates' telescope, 1942 and mountain climbing activities, ca. 1924-1938.
The fonds consists of materials created or collected by Hazel McCuaig. It includes correspondence, a scrapbook collection containing news clippings on members of the Northern Alberta Pioneers' and Old Timers' Association and other prominent people and places in Alberta's history, brochures and programs relating to historical groups and cultural events in Edmonton and Strathcona. The photographs include the Rutherford home, Edmonton and district buildings, events, family members and friends as well as a military panorama (EA-82, EA-10-353, EA-10-2251). There are also maps and books on Edmonton and one watercolour drawing of McKay Avenue School (EAA-92-1).
The fonds consists of textual records, historical documents, photographs, paintings and maps gathered by NAPOTA in support of the association’s goal of preserving the history of Edmonton. The fonds consists predominantly of textual records of Richard Henry and Annie York Secord, and their son Richard York Secord, and to a lesser extent Margaret Calder Secord (wife of Richard York), Lena Secord McFayden and Isobel Secord (sisters of Richard York), and Richard Calhoun Secord (grandson of Richard York).
The photographs consist of family and friends, farming and business activities, events and street scenes of Edmonton.
