The fonds consists of records from the Edmonton Branch of the Dickens Fellowship from 1927 to 1974. Materials include correspondence, minutes, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and clippings. The fonds also includes the Edmonton Branch membership rolls and membership certificates, along with minutes from a 1973 meeting of the Council of the Dickens Fellowship.

The fonds consists of the records of The Whale Society of Edmonton from shortly before its formal incorporation in 1979 until shortly after its dissolution in 1983. The records include correspondence, newsletters, briefing notes, public presentations, posters, financial records, and minutes of meetings. Also included in the records is a T-Shirt designed by a Society member and sold as a fundraising item at public events. The banner used by the Society to identify their booth at public events is also included. There are also information files initially created by Dr. Dennis Wighton of the Department of Genetics, University of Alberta. These files were used by the Society in the development of their newsletters, merchandise, and briefing notes to government officials.

The fonds consists of materials collected, researched and created by the Mill Creek Build A Park committee in their efforts, activities and projects to protect, preserve and advocate for the Mill Creek ravine. It includes their research sources, documents and historical notes about the ravine and partners in the projects. Their projects include: the Mill Creek Crusade; Endangered Homes Project; “Mill Crick” and “Everybody’s Mill Creek” story approaches to the social history of Mill Creek ravine; “The Mill Creek Story”, formerly a series of 5 binders with slide/audio presentation for the purpose of developing environmental education in Mill Creek schools; and “It Really Works!”, a model for social action in environmental education in the classroom.

This fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, and reports relating to the historical interests of Samuel Archibald Dickson, particularly his involvement in the campaign to restore/replicate Fort Edmonton in association with the Northern Alberta Pioneers and Old Timers Association (for which he also served as legal counsel), the Historical Society of Alberta, the Edmonton Museum Committee and the Edmonton Archives and Landmarks Committee. Also includes documentation regarding Samuel's appointment as commissioner to investigate political partisanship by government employees.

The photographs include Indigenous men, women and children as well as some scenes of Edmonton such as the official opening of Fort Edmonton Park in 1967, minstrel shows ca. 1921 and the demolition of the Tegler building in 1982.

This fonds contains records about the operations of the Daughters of Penelope - Boreas Chapter 268. Records include meeting minutes, financial records, correspondence, and documents related to Boreas Chapter 40th anniversary celebrations. Also included in this fonds are records pertaining to the various charity donations and philanthropic activities of the Boreas Chapter, as well as their involvement in local initiatives such as Heritage Days.
