The fonds consists of certificates for Halley's Comet 1986 sighting, a copy of the site profile on the 1908 house in downtown Edmonton later converted into a restaurant called Vi's and information on the Oliver area. Another accrual in 2010 contained documents used for site profiles on the Canadian Furniture Company, Armstrong Drug Store, W.W. Arcade, Mike's News, Pantages (Strand) Theatre and the Princess Theatre.

The fonds consists predominantly of records from Kathleen Waddell’s time in the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service. They include one menu card for the Christmas Dinner 1943 of HMCS Stadacona and photographs of Kathleen as a Wren (EA-557-1 to EA-557-11).

• 7 pages of typewritten accounts from James W. Taylor's diary in South Africa from February 24, 1902 to June 1, 1902; Certificate of Discharge from the South African Constabulary, February 21, 1903;
• a pass from the South African Constabulary, 1903;
  The photographs are also from James Taylor’s military carrier and include Canadian troops in South Africa.

The fonds consists of a photograph of the Officers of the 49th Battalion, Edmonton Regiment taken one day after the armistice of WWI (November 11, 1918).
The 49th Battalion, Edmonton Regiment, CEF, was authorized in November 1914 under the command of Lt. Col. W.A. Griesbach and embarked for England in June 1915. The troops went to France in October 1915, where they fought as part of the 7th Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Division in France and Flanders until the end of the war. The battalion was disbanded September 1920.

This fonds primarily consists of military records from Thomas Humphreys from the Crimean War (including a brief family history and a diary) and Lt. P.A. Green from the First World War (including information on his service and his pension). This fonds also contains Lt. P.A. Green's medals and ribbons from the First World War, including his Military cross, Military Medal, and other service medals.
