The fonds consists of the scripts for Harry Farmer’s television program “Sunday Visit” broadcast by CFRN-TV. The program highlighted the history of various churches in the Edmonton area. Each of the scripts begins: "The story of … Church as told by Harry Farmer, Producer of CFRN Television’s Sunday Visit Series". For a list of churches covered by the program scripts, see attached list.
The fonds also consists of photographs of the churches likely used in the show.

The fonds consists of photographs including the Grave’s house at 295 – 105 St., where Maria Scragg and John Stirling were married in 1907, the home of Maria and John Roxburgh, and the Chisholm Block fire.
The fonds also includes two books, ‘The George McDougall Museum and Shrine: The Little Church at the City’s Heart’ (287.9 MCD 1946), and ‘Rundle in Alberta 1840-1848’ (922.77 RUN).

The fonds consists of records created by Hooks Signs Ltd. of Edmonton.
The textural records (1912-1949, predominantly 1912-1919) include 9 invoice books from 21 Oct 1912 to 31 Oct 1919 and 2 Sep 1947 to 31 Jan 1949, as well as Hook Signs labels, certificates, Licenses, administrative records, and materials for an anniversary book.
The photographs (1920-1980) include images of the billboards and signs created by Hook Signs. There are also various street scenes and intersections in Edmonton, with a blank billboard sign in the background. These were used to show advertising opportunities to potential clients.

Edward Bell fonds

The fonds consists of Edward Bell’s account of becoming a teacher and then principal of Bennett School, including teaching in the school’s temporary accommodations on the second floor of a house in 1912 while awaiting construction of the school building. The Bennett School moved into their new building on Gallagher flats in the spring of 1913.
The photograph is of the temporary classroom that was used before the Bennett School building was opened.

The fonds consists of photos taken by Eric Bland for the Edmonton Bulletin in the last five years of the Bulletin’s existence (April 1947-January 1951) (EA-600). The photos include Edmonton personalities, accidents, events, clubs and societies, buildings (including churches, schools and hospitals), commerce, industry, transportation and military.
The fonds also includes images used in the publication 'Edmonton Bulletin Special Edition 1911' (EB-26). This publication gave a history of Edmonton to that point. The photographs include people, houses, buildings businesses, street scenes, bridges and transportation.

The fonds consists of textual records and photographs created or collected by Hubert A. Hollingworth. The textual records reflect Hollingworth’s business and photography work, as well as his family and household life. There are also records where it is not known how they are specifically related to Hollingworth, so it has been assumed he collected the pieces. These records, as well as the books and maps, reflect Hollingworth's variety of interests.

The photographs cover a wide array of Edmonton including buildings and street scenes, activities and events, as well as people and businesses.

The photograph records are divided into two series:
Series 1 – Hollingworth Photographs.
Series 2 – Glass Slide Photographs.
