The series consists of meeting minutes, agreements, financial records, personnel records, correspondence, and other material generated through the business conducted at the Municipal Airport.
An order has been imposed on the material. The arrangement includes four sub-series, which are as follows:
- Sub-series 1.1 – Reports, minutes, general orders and record keeping
- Sub-series 1.2 – Finance
- Sub-series 1.3 – Buildings
- Sub-series 1.4 – Human Resources (Restricted)
The series consist of correspondence between Municipal Airport officials and City employees, other levels of government, clients, and private individuals relating to the operation of the Municipal Airport.
The fonds consists of textual records and photographs created or collected by Hubert A. Hollingworth. The textual records reflect Hollingworth’s business and photography work, as well as his family and household life. There are also records where it is not known how they are specifically related to Hollingworth, so it has been assumed he collected the pieces. These records, as well as the books and maps, reflect Hollingworth's variety of interests.
The photographs cover a wide array of Edmonton including buildings and street scenes, activities and events, as well as people and businesses.
The photograph records are divided into two series:
Series 1 – Hollingworth Photographs.
Series 2 – Glass Slide Photographs.
This series consist of records relating to tenants of the airport, including leases, agreements, and correspondence with government organizations and private companies conducting business on airport land.
