This series contains correspondence files from the Office of the Secretary-Treasurer. The Secretary-Treasurer, also known as the Town Clerk and Treasurer, was responsible for the Town's finances, purchasing, and record-keeping. The material in this series relates to a wide variety of Town functions, including bylaws, finances, contracts, human resources, utilities, infrastructure, recreation, welfare, development, and land sales.
This series contains reports that were processed and described as part of the Government Reports library, and includes annual reports and other material created by the Edmonton Fire Department. It also contains numerous reports collected by the Fire Department in the course of their operations, which were subsequently transferred to the City of Edmonton Archives. Departments that are represented include the Bylaw Enforcement Department, the Computer Systems Development and Services Department, the Corporate Studies Office, the Edmonton Municipal Airport, Edmonton Power, the Edmonton Public Library, edmonton telephones, Edmonton Transit, the Engineering Department, the Finance Department, the Local Board of Health, the Management Services Department, the Office of the Auditor General, the Office of the City Clerk, the Office of the City Commissioners, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Personnel Department, the Planning Department, the Police Department, the Public Relations Department, the Public Works Department, the Real Estate and Housing Department, the Real Estate and Supply Services Department, the Safety Department, and the Water and Sanitation Department. There are also reports from outside organizations.

The records are believed to have been created by staff in the office, or collected as reference material to assist Aldermen and Councilors in fulfilling their duties.

This fonds contains photos of Edmonton Transit equipment and Luna Gas in the 1950s, and construction and tunneling related to the creation of the LRT downtown in the 1970s.
Edmonton Transit SystemThe Engineering Department was established in 1958 when the Department of Public Works and the Department of Public Utilities were amalgamated. The department was responsible for the construction and maintenance of Town infrastructure, such as streets, parks, and water and sewer lines, as well as for providing garbage collection and metre reading services. The Department was also tasked with building the Jasper Place Sports Centre. When the Town of Jasper Place amalgamated with the City of Edmonton, the Engineering Department was subsumed into the larger City Engineer's Department.
This series consists of records created and collected by the Jasper Place Engineering Department. It includes project reports, updates, finances, correspondence, police reports on damage to infrastructure, personnel, and blueprints. This series also includes a plaque for the First Street Paving Program.
This series contains the records created by the Edmonton's 75th Anniversary Committee and its various subcommittees.
