The fonds consists of records relating to Charlotte Daws’ track and field successes, including news clippings, programmes of track and field events (in some of which she competed), and a programme of the first British Empire Games, Hamilton, Ontario, Aug. 16-23, 1930.
The photographs include a portrait of Charlotte with trophies and medals, and photo of the Canadian Men’s Track & Field Team. Both photographs taken at the first British Empire Games, Hamilton, Ontario, Aug. 16-23, 1930. The objects include a British Empire Games pin, numerous track and field medals, and four commemorative Women's Amateur Athletic Association of Canada spoons.

The family correspondence includes letters to “Dad” (from Tony), “Mom and Dad” (from Nora, includes references to brother Tony and husband Bill), “Mr & Mrs Siden” (from Mary and Carl, with references to Nora and Bill, Fritz and Edmond), and “Sir” (from Edmond).
There is also an invoice from Dr. Peter Farney & Sons, Co., Chicago, and an advertising card for ‘Davis & Lawrence Asparagus Kidney Pills’.
The homesteading documents relate to obtaining entry for homesteading, record of road work in lieu of taxes, requests for information from the Dominion Bureau of Statistics including agricultural surveys (Survey of Crops and Live Stock June 1944; Live Stock and Poultry Survey, December 1944), receipt for medications, record of special grant payment.

The fonds consists of the records from the Edmonton Social Planning Council (E.S.P.C.) from its inception to the early 1990s. The records within the fonds capture the changing activities and functions of the Council throughout its history and its work in social welfare. The records include correspondence, administrative records, reports, studies, minutes, newsletters, publications, financial records, directories, manuals, bylaws, clippings, memorandums and briefs. Also included in the fonds are photographs of an annual meeting and housing in Edmonton.

The fonds provides insight into the history of social welfare in Edmonton and covers a variety of social issues including healthcare, childcare, education, poverty, housing, transportation, disabilities, reproductive rights, legal rights, immigration, Indigenous and Metis people, youth and addiction.

The fonds consists of records relating to the activities of the Aurora Borealis Chapter 10 C.J. Order of AHEPA and includes correspondence, programmes, minutes, news clippings relating to special events and the Canadian Greek community, photographs, genealogical resources, and research materials gathered by Jean Pierre Van Eck, a member and Supreme Vice President of AHEPA Canada. Also included in the fonds are items relating to the membership of James Anton in the order. The photographs include portraits of groups and individuals that were members of AHEPA, as well as images taken during AHEPA events. Also included in the photographs are images of members of the wider Edmonton Greek community that might not have been members of AHEPA.

The fonds consists of panorama photographs of banquets of local associations, including the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire, Independent Order of Foresters and Northern Alberta Pioneers & Old Timers Association Banquet. There is also a panorama photograph of the Westlawn Bowling Club.
It is likely Nora’s parents were members of these associations.
