The fonds consists of photocopies of news clippings from the scrapbook created by Harold Brown. The news clippings relate to the Crestwood Community League and its predecessors, the 142nd Street and Jasper Place Community Leagues. There are also some early annual reports, newsletters, and correspondence of Harold P. Brown, the secretary of the league for many years and a member of the executive and president of the Federation of Community Leagues in the 1920s.
The photographs (1915-1924) cover events in the community, likely held by the community league (Maypole dancing, parades, children playing in parks, theatrical performances, parks), buildings (Alberta Legislature), roads and bridges, CKUA radio studio and portraits of Harold P. Brown and Cyril Geoffrey Wates.

The Report is named "Beau Park Addition or Life on the Bottom of McKernan Lake: A Report on a Neighborhood." The neighbourhood study includes important information about the area's history, finances, social demography, and future.
