Materials include correspondence, programs, planning materials, invitations, forms, guidelines and rules. Also included in the series is an issue of The Works A Visual Arts Celebration and the Edmonton Art Gallery Calendar of Events.

The series consists of newsletters produced by the Society of Western Canadian Artists (formerly the Federation of Canadian Artists, Alberta Region, Edmonton Branch) and the Federation of Canadian Artists. The series also consists of newsletters from the Calgary Branch of the Federation of Canadian Artists, these represent the activities and the collaborations that took place as members of the Alberta Region of the federation. Also included in the series are materials pertaining to the writing and printing of the newsletters including drafts and mock ups.

The series consists of photographs of various events and activities of the Society of Western Canadian Artists and its members. Majority of the photographs are portraits used for composites of the members. Also included in the series are collages used during shows and exhibitions with photographs and prices of art pieces.

The series consists of records of Alexander J.H. McCauley, predominantly musical programmes, many of which list him as the pianist or accompanist. The other programmes where he is not listed, it is presumed these were concerts or performances that Alexander attended.

The series also includes a musical biography of Alexander’s son, William A. McCauley.

The series consists of agendas, minutes, correspondence and supporting documentation relating to Richard York Secord’s service on the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, 1959-1968, the Edmonton Archives and Landmarks Committee/Edmonton Historical Board, 1964-1972, the Alberta Heritage Sites Board, 1973-1976, and the Fort Edmonton Foundation, 1970-1975.

There is also personal and business correspondence, including correspondence relating to the Secord family history, as well as research material, correspondence and manuscripts relating to the Richard Henry Secord biography and Richard York Secord memoirs.

The photographs and books reflect many aspects of Richard Y. Secord’s activities and interests.

This series consists of records of some of the clubs described above, but predominantly Club 70, The Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wild Rose (ISCWR) and The Roost Nightclub. There are early administrative records for Club 70, as well as newsletters and photographs. ISCWR records include Coronation programs and information from the first coronation in 1976, and then further programs and records from courts held from 1985 to 2009. There are numerous event and promotion files for The Roost Nightclub, including monthly event calendars, broadsheets and flyers, news clippings and event posters. Included with the records were Roost Nightclub plaques and trophies.
