This fonds consists of publications, plays, and newspaper articles written by Cyril Wates, as well as assorted correspondence and records relating to the Edmonton chapter of the Alpine Club of Canada. The fonds also contains an article and correspondence of Helen Adela (Burns) Wates, as well as photographs of Helen Adela (Burns) Wates' family, ca. 1870-1880, Cyril Wates' telescope, 1942 and mountain climbing activities, ca. 1924-1938.

The fonds includes programmes and score cards of the Edmonton Commercial Grads basketball team, programmes of the Edmonton Rotary Minstrel Revue, and an Edmonton Eskimos hockey game, postcards and tickets to an Independent Order of Odd Fellows picnic draw.

Also included in the fonds is a copy of the City of Edmonton Railway Department rules and regulations handbook and minutes from the Civic Fastball League.

This fonds includes records dealing with the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club, including game programs, media guides and fact books, bound hardcover team scrapbooks with media clippings dating from 1880-2007, ephemera including material relating to Peggy Miller (a CJCA promotion manager and an advocate for the Eskimos) as well as Canadian Football League publications such as rules manuals, statistics books, records manuals, and media guides for various Canadian teams.
The audio-visual material includes a video of highlights from Eskimos' 1954-55-56 Grey Cups and four films of the 1973, 1974, and 1981 Grey Cups and 1978 Schenley Awards. The photographs include various players, teams and games from 1892 to 1985.

This fonds consists of records from the Royal Lawn Bowling Club from the years 1926 until 1974. The fonds contains correspondence, financial statements, minutes, organization constitutions and by-laws, tournament rules, yearbooks, and meeting minutes for the Royal Ladies Lawn Bowling Club. Also included are two trophies: the Col. Simms Challenger Cup, and the National Home Furniture Trophy. The correspondence includes communications with elected officials, sponsors, other lawn bowling organizations, and members. Also included in the correspondence are several proposed floor plans for the new clubhouse which was built in 1958.

This fonds consists of records from the Edmonton Lawn Bowling Club from its creation in 1926 to its dissolution in 1972. The records consist of minutes, financial records, correspondence, trophies, and photographs. Also included is a sheet of song lyrics about lawn bowling and a history of the Edmonton Lawn Bowling Club from its inception to 1961.

The photographs include a photo of the women of the Edmonton Lawn Bowling Club, photos of the winners of various trophies and competitions, and photos of former club president George Buchanan.

The fonds consists of minutes, financial statements, newsletters, photographs, objects, moving images, and catalogues of events and dog shows the Edmonton Kennel Club held, and helped organize, throughout the twentieth century. The fonds also consists of commemorative material created to celebrate achievements of the Club’s members, such as for birthdays or anniversaries, in the form of scrapbooks and certificates. Also included are objects gathered by Edmonton Kennel Club members who performed judicial duties for dog shows hosted by the Edmonton Kennel Club, as well as for other organizations across the world.

The photographs of the fonds are images primarily taken of the Club’s dog shows with a smaller number of images drawn from the Club’s various social activities.
