This collection consists of donations accumulated by the City of Edmonton Archives which consist of a limited number of photographs. Often these donations had little or no provenance, however were considered to be historically relevant enough to preserve. Photographs range in subject matter from Edmonton events, buildings, transportation, people, and businesses.
The City of Edmonton ArchivesThe fonds consists of photographs of the Mawhinney family, sports teams the Mawhinney’s were part of, the family home in Rossdale, the Arctic Ice Company, the Ross Flats clubhouse, the North Saskatchewan River, and damage from the 1915 flood.
Mawhinney, DavidThis series contains correspondence, minutes, publications, and financial records created by the Recreation Commission.
Recreation CommissionThe fonds consists of documents and photographs related to Anthony Shute’s police career and activities in the Boxing and Wrestling Commission. .

The fonds consists of records from the Edmonton Street Railway Athletic Association from 1921 to 1958. Records include minutes, a ledger, correspondence, finances, reports and membership lists. Also included in the fonds is a copy of the City of Edmonton Railway Department rules and regulations handbook and minutes from the Civic Fastball League.
