The fonds consists of pamphlets and textual material that John had collected on public art. The photographs cover places of worship, public art, bridges, public buildings, shopping centres, streetscapes and the demolition of several buildings in Edmonton and area.

The fonds consists of records collected by Gertrude Ragain or used by her family, including:

• an Edmonton Bulletin carrier's regular customer record book for Henry Ragan (son of Gertrude), October – December 1937;
• booklet 'Rundle in Alberta 1840-1848', by The United Church of Canada; annual report, United Services Y.M.C.A. Club, March 17, 1943;
• invitation, unveiling of Rundle's Mission plaque, September 12, 1965;
• booklet 'The Rundle Adventure Story', by John Travis, 1968.
  The photographs include Earl Grey’s visit to Edmonton in 1909 and a portrait of Gertrude Ragan, ca. 1975, used for an Edmonton Historical Board award (1976).

The fonds consists of materials created or collected by the Edmonton Chapter of the Y's Menettes between 1951 and 1965. The fonds consists of photographs, bulletins, regional conference and Western District material and papers mostly relating to annual fundraising teas held and include the names of honoured guests, such as Mrs. Elmer Roper. There is also a scrapbook which includes additional photographs, a tea poster, bulletins, newspaper clippings, convention material and financial statements.

The fonds consists of materials created by the Edmonton Community Worship Hour Church between 1988 and 1995. The fonds consists of programmes and financial reports for the Edmonton Community Worship Hour Church and a copy of a paper written by Pastor Collins on the Shiloh Baptist Church, "The Spiritual Role of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Edmonton" .

The fonds consists of research gathered in the late 1960's by Peter Arends pertaining to 20th Century Edmonton architects and includes biographical data, copies of photographs, and building attributes for: R. Percy Barns, C. Lionel Gibbs, Cecil S. Burgess, Richard P. and William Blakey, Alfred M. Calderon, Cauchon & Vautyne, Francis X. Deggendorfer, John K. Dow, David Hardie, Wm. S. Edmiston, James Henderson, Edward C. Hopkins, Allen M. Jeffers, H. D. Johnson, George M. Lang, Frank Lansdowne, Roland W. Lines, George H. MacDonald, Herbert A. Magoon, William P. Major, John Martland, Ernest W. Morehouse, J. H. Rudy, H. Storey, George E. Turner, Edward Underwood, H. M. and W. A. Whiddington [Whiddingdon], Arthur G. Wilson & Herald, and James A. Wize. The fonds also includes a panoramic view of Edmonton in 1912 printed by Hamly Press in 1962, information about various Edmonton landmark buildings, a charcoal copy from a photograph of the First Chapel in Fort Edmonton built in 1869 and detailed notes on St. Joachim Church.

• The collection consists of materials collected by R. M. Currie of Edmonton, including programmes for musical performances and concerts (see file list below).
• The photographs include the Prince of Wales on the Legislature steps (1919) and the Metropolitan Methodist Church in Strathcona [ca. 1910].

The fonds consists a booklet about the church 'Westmount Presbyterian Church 1913-1988 - 75th Anniversary', a 75th Anniversary pin and photocopies of correspondence, clippings and articles relating to the 75th anniversary of the church.

Fonds consists of one copy of "One Armed Star from the East", and a manuscript relating to the origins and development of the Catholic church in the Edmonton area.
