This collection consists of donations accumulated by the City of Edmonton Archives which consist of a limited number of photographs. Often these donations had little or no provenance, however were considered to be historically relevant enough to preserve. Photographs range in subject matter from Edmonton events, buildings, transportation, people, and businesses.

This fonds contains copies of photos donated by the Edmonton Public Library, as well as reports written by the Edmonton Public Library, and early architectural drawings of the proposed Civic Centre. It has been divided into the following three series:
