The fonds also contains an article and correspondence of Helen Adela (Burns) Wates, as well as photographs of Helen Adela (Burns) Wates' family, ca. 1870-1880, Cyril Wates' telescope, 1942 and mountain climbing activities, ca. 1924-1938.

The fonds (or collection) consists of meeting minutes, correspondence, member obituaries, initiation ceremony scripts, membership lists, and some constitution and bylaw booklets of the main Canukeena Club organization that were distributed to its smaller branches. Also included are three lapel pins that were given to members in good standing upon their initiation. The photograph consists of the last meeting of the Canukeena Club of Edmonton’s members.

Also included are laser copies of photographs of George Van Allen as well as a black and white copy of a photograph Van Allen at his desk.
