This series contains textual records relating to City of Edmonton employee pay, benefits, pensions, and other related labour issues. Documents in this series include negotiations and signed agreements with major unions, as well as correspondence, program plans, and meeting minutes for benefit steering committees.
This sub-series contains records created in the planning and operation of the Storyland Valley Zoo. The material includes correspondence as well as records relating to administration, strategic planning, facility and exhibit development, animal acquisition and care, programming, finances, personnel, external organizations, and media coverage.
The sub-series includes photographs of animals and zoo facilities around 1970 (EA-20-623 to EA-20-633), as well as postcards of Edmonton and photos of Fort Edmonton Park (EA-20-635 to EA-20-641), and historic photographs of the construction of the High Level Bridge, Fort Edmonton, the Legislature, and the Edmonton Ski Club (EA-20-642 to EA-20-645). The subseries also includes a set of postcards depicting the Valley Zoo from ca. 1970 (EA-20-5471 to EA-20-5500).

This series of records is related to the Commissioners' roll of overseeing the financial affairs of the City. Financial matters include taxation and assessment, guarantee deposits for tenders, budgets and estimates, all records relating to accounting (except payroll -see Series 1 Subseries 6) and investments, including debentures, loans and the sinking fund. This series contains the following subseries:

This subseries consists of records relating to the setting and collection of taxes for the City.
2.2 Budgets and Estimates
This subseries contains records of the budgeting and accounting processes of the City by the Commissioners.
2.3 Investments
This subseries includes the documents relating to the City's ability to raise and save funds.
The series consist of correspondence between Municipal Airport officials and City employees, other levels of government, clients, and private individuals relating to the operation of the Municipal Airport.
This series contains correspondence primarily from the Computer Systems and Development Department, as well as some from its predecessor body the Computer Operations Branch of the Central Supply and Services Department. The records include correspondence, minutes, and reports generated through the development of computer systems for other City departments.
Computer Systems and Development DepartmentThis series contains reports created by the Edmonton Public Library relating to the Government Information Division, strategic planning, marketing, and the Edmonton Public Library Board. It includes annual reports, financial statements, copies of Edmonton Public Library News Notes, as well as various other planning and operational reports created by EPL.
This series contains material related to strategic planning for the Edmonton Ambulance Authority and the Emergency Medical Services Department.
This series contains correspondence, minutes, publications, and financial records created by the Recreation Commission.
Recreation CommissionThis series contains records collected and created by the Citizens Action Centre. The material was mostly used to provide information to the public, though some material also reflects special projects undertaken by the unit, such as their involvement in the 1987 tornado response, Klondike Days, and the 8th IAAF World Championships in Athletics held in Edmonton in 2001. The material has been divided into the following subseries:
