The fonds consists of a transcript of an interview conducted with Lova Martin and David Martin by Roger Carver in 1978. The interview contains information about Mr. Harry Shaw and his business.

The fonds consists of two copies, including a prologue, of a story written by Olive Kathleen Murdoch (nee Heathcote) written in 1978. The story recalls the experiences of the Heathcote family's experience while homesteading near Edmonton.
