This series contains records from the Edmonton Alberta 75th Municipal Anniversary Committee. It has been divided into two subseries:
This series contains correspondence files from the Public Relations Department. The majority of the files are subject files. However, there are also some files of general correspondence, as well as correspondence around requests for financial contributions through the Department's hosting program.
This series contains the records created by the Edmonton's 75th Anniversary Committee and its various subcommittees. It includes meeting minutes, correspondence, graphic material, and ephemera relating to the activities undertaken by the committee and the community in celebrating Edmonton's 75th anniversary.
Sin títuloThis series contains records collected and created by the Civic Centennial Committee. It includes foundational documentation, meeting minutes, correspondence, and general information and ephemera relating to Canada's Centennial.
Sin títuloThis series contains posters that were either anonymously sent to the Archives or found in the collection of the City of Edmonton Archives. The posters had no provenance, and were therefore combined into a single series. The posters relate to festivals, theatre productions, community events, and fundraisers held in the Edmonton area.
This fonds consists of documents relating to Andrekson’s work as a volunteer for various organizations. The majority of the material is related to Andrekson’s work with the Edmonton Civic Centennial Committee, an organization formed to celebrate Canada’s 100th anniversary of Confederation.
The remainder of the material consists of records from Andrekson’s other activities as a volunteer, namely as part of the Commonwealth Games hosted in Edmonton in 1978, and the 1983 Universiade Games, also hosted in Edmonton. The records related to these events are comprised of both organizational material, such as minutes and reports of the boards, as well as promotional material meant to be given to the public or displayed during the specific events.
The photographs are of events at Universiade ’83, including the opening and closing ceremonies and a variety of athletic events.
Some photographs are of Kaleidoscope ’83, the cultural arm of Universiade ’83, which consisted of a variety of cultural performances and displays held during the Universiade games.
Sin títuloThe fonds consists of minutes, bylaws, financial statements, event planning files, annual reports, budgets, and photographs created during the operation of the Edmonton Boys’ Pipe Band. A small number of regalia worn by members during parade is also included. Two electronic records are also present: a music CD featuring a selection of the Pipe Band’s performances, as well as a DVD of the Edmonton Celtic Festival that features a video recording of the Pipe Band’s performance.
Sin títuloThis series consists of Pride Festival events and planning files, and includes organizing meeting minutes, promotional items and posters, and photographs. There is one file of information related to Gay Pride events in cities other than Edmonton.
Sin títuloThe fonds consists of textual records, historical documents, photographs, paintings and maps gathered by NAPOTA in support of the association’s goal of preserving the history of Edmonton. The fonds also includes the records of the association including minutes, membership records, correspondence, financial documents and news clippings.
The fonds is arranged as follows:
This fonds consists of a history of the Alban, Treals, Cartmell and Fry families, transit maps, an Alberta Railway timetable, a price list for Hazletts' store, and materials on the Edmonton Bird Club.
The photographs include Edmonton buildings, street scenes, events and people.
