This fonds consists of records by the Edmonton Japanese Community Association (EJCA). Association records include The Aurora [オーロラ] newsletters, Moshi Moshi [もしもし] newsletters, Metro Edmonton Japanese Community School annual reports, and the History Project survey and oral history interviews and publications. There is also a directory of Japanese in Canada from 1941 and a film reel titled "Japanese Heritage in Alberta" from the Alberta Cultural Heritage Film Series.

The fonds consists primarily of individual grant files relating to funding from the Muttart Foundation and its cooperating partners. Depending on the grant type, these files are generally related to bursaries, training grants, or discretionary and matching / special grants. There are also general files relating to the administration of the Muttart Foundation and some of its programs, individual grantees and funding issues, miscellaneous files, and objects relating to the Foundation. Also included are photographs of Foundation board members, staff, fellows, funding ceremonies, and various organizations that received grants.

The audio-visual material includes a video of highlights from Eskimos' 1954-55-56 Grey Cups and four films of the 1973, 1974, and 1981 Grey Cups and 1978 Schenley Awards. The photographs include various players, teams and games from 1892 to 1985.
